Benoni Irwin was another artist of recognized excellence, whose work, mainly in portraits, has become familiar in all the exhibitions of the country for many years. He was much esteemed for his true artistic nature, the conscientious character of his work, and his genial personal qualities, which made him a welcome guest at all the artistic haunts of the town.
