Century Memorial

Richard Mills Pearce was one of our notable pathologists and bacteriologists; his progress in the development of medical education was very rapid. Professor of research medicine in the University of Pennsylvania at the age of thirty-five, Dr. Pearce became the general director of medical education for the Rockefeller foundation ten years afterward.
