Century Memorial

The number of members who have died since the year began is ten. The names of Bristed, Pearson, Ogden, Gavitt [sic: Gavit], Keller, Pell, Sturges, Toppan, Beeckman, and Varnum, appear no longer on our roll. Some of these recal[l] the early days of the Century, when their presence and character aided to form its growth, and gave grace and strength to its youthful prime.
