As a younger professional lieutenant, William Vincent Rowe was for twenty years a partnership associate of Choate and Evarts, both of which eminent lawyers he numbered as his friends. His retirement from active practice, nearly two decades ago, was only a prelude to his lecture courses at the law school of Boston University.
