Century Memorial

A fitting brother-in-law to Walter Cook was Carleton Sprague, who died a few months after him. Although in recent years a resident of New York, his name will long be cherished in his earlier home, as one of Buffalo’s most enlightened and beneficent citizens. He moved and had his being in the Pan-American Exhibition held there in 1901; and he was foremost in every movement to foster the literary and artistic life of his native city.
