Century Memorial

Lansdale Boardman, at the time of his death the Treasurer of the Century, joined the Club only ten years since, but he had here a large circle of warm friends. Born at Troy, New York, of an ancestry that entitled him to membership in the Sons of the Revolution and the Society of Colonial Wars, he graduated at Harvard and entered business with Mr. Russell Sage, then a resident of his native city. Later he removed to this city and was until 1893 an active and successful member of the Stock Exchange. He was a man of high character, conscientious and systematic in the performance of the smaller as well as the greater duties that he assumed, and genial in social intercourse. The Association is indebted to him for particularly careful and efficient service during his brief term as Treasurer.
