Century Memorial

Prof. Youmans, Dr. Hitchcock, Judge Rapallo and Aaron J. Vanderpoel, were men of whom any community might be proud might be proud. Their fame was not merely national, but extended beyond the limits of their own country.

The termination of their great and active usefulness is an irreparable loss to this whole community, which to us is enhanced by the reflection that our pleasant companionship with them within these walls is at an end.
