Century Memorial

Dr. John Van der Poel had achieved high distinction in his branch of medical practice. Always a New Yorker and identified with many New York institutions and clubs, he had studied long at Berlin, Dresden, and Vienna, and in 1915 served with the Army Medical Corps at the Compiègne hospital.
