Century Memorial

John A. Browning’s life was devoted with exceptional success to the right development of boyhood. His school was limited to forty boys and its cost was relatively great; but the pupils came from wealthy homes, where many of them had been pampered. Browning undertook to correct the resultant faults and weakness. With a disciplinarian at the head of the school who exacted and obtained willing obedience, the boys left it for their college course able to think and act for themselves. Many of them have become recognized leaders in the making of a better world.
