Century Memorial

There was no lawyer better known in the city than Charles E. Butler, who for over fifty years was a member of one of the most distinguished firms in the city, which he helped to found. His good judgment and sound sense, as well as his great tenacity of purpose, united with a thorough knowledge of the law, made him invaluable to his clients, whose interests he most loyally served and protected, and brought him a high reputation which he assuredly deserved. His success was due to his remarkable devotion to his profession, his own natural ability, and to an integrity that was conspicuous throughout his life.
