Century Memorial

The memory of William G. Breese and Henry [sic: Charles] A. Clinton is connected with those earlier days of the association, in which they were actively devoted to it, rather than with the later time in which they were infrequent though always welcome visitors. The name and presence of the latter will always be recalled to us by the portrait of his distinguished father [Governor DeWitt Clinton], which was his gift.
