John W. Ehninger was for many years one of the best known members of the Century, and has always been one of its most valued members. He was an artist of distinction and great cleverness, as shown by many of his works now on our walls; possessed rare social qualities, which made him a centre of every circle; and although for several years his residence in another city of this State has withdrawn him from active inter course with his many friends here, he retained his interest in the Club to the last, and his memory will long be cherished.
