Century Memorial

Another New York clergyman of long service in one church organization was Anson Phelps Atterbury. Dr. Atterbury’s somewhat remarkable record was of fifty-one consecutive years of affiliation with the West Side church which had called him to its pastorate in the year of his graduation from the Seminary. He was a native New Yorker, and had a long and honorable record of activity in New York City enterprises.
